Clinical Supervision

As well as being a counsellor, I am also a qualified supervisor, with a wide range of knowledge working with individual and couple clients.

Being a supervisor for counsellors is a vital role that directly impacts the quality of care provided to clients. A good supervisor not only offers guidance and support to counsellors but also ensures that they maintain ethical standards and develop professionally. This relationship is essential for fostering a safe and effective therapeutic environment, and I continuously promote this in supervision.

In my experience, effective supervision can enhance a counsellor's skills, boost their confidence, and ultimately improve client outcomes. As I navigate this rewarding responsibility, I aim to share insights that can benefit both supervisors and those seeking supervision. By examining best practices and the unique challenges supervisors face, I hope to provide valuable information that can help shape how we support each other in this field. Exploring these aspects can deepen our commitment to personal and professional growth.

My focus is using the Seven-Eyed Model, and by using this model, I can simultaneously address various dimensions of counselling practice, ultimately enhancing both supervisory effectiveness and client outcomes.

I also, ensure that counsellors have access to continuous professional development opportunities. This includes identifying training needs and recommending relevant workshops or courses. I prioritise maintaining ethical standards in counselling practices. This involves ensuring that counsellors are familiar with and adhere to relevant codes of ethics and professional guidelines.

My fees range between £50.00-£70.00 for 1.5 hours of face to face or online clinical supervision for qualified counsellors/student counsellors/psychotherapists.
